Interconnecting strong sectors with smart solutions is one of the primary challenges that the Province of North Brabant faces during this
term of office. The economic agenda of Brabant is a sound basis on which to establish one’s regional economic policy. How might we achieve vigorous growth? By making links between social challenges, nutrition, public health or the care economy. This naturally also has to be carried out in context with the labour market policy, as a healthy economy is invariably based on the high quality and flexible deployment of personnel. The field of education, private and public sectors will therefore have to increasingly cooperate with one another. This triple helix cooperation is necessary, not only at regional level, but also at an international level.
